We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Car Systems Design engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the design of engine systems, fuel system, gearbox cooling system, and integration of these into the whole car package. For the specific components assigned, you will contribute to concept development, detailed design, supporting documentation, and problem resolution.

Mechanical Design

Work under the guidance of the team leader, supporting design work with the concept and aerodynamic departments to maximize the car systems' impact on overall car performance.

Ensure all design work is fit for purpose and take ownership of the quality of parts designed.

Complete detailed design of car systems components and installations assigned according to planned deadlines.

Communicate clearly with team members in a timely manner and support everyone in meeting their targets.

Maintain and develop good relationships with other departments.

Contribute to car performance with ideas for improvement and highlight potential issues.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments applicable to the role.

Ensure designs are released on time and meet the specified requirements.

Professionalism

Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, in line with role requirements and project-specific needs.

Work professionally at all times, promoting a positive image for the department, team, and sponsors.
