We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Car Systems Design engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the design of engine systems, fuel system, gearbox cooling system, and integrating these into the whole car package. You will contribute to concept development through detailed design, supporting documentation, and problem resolution for assigned components.

Mechanical Design

Support design work with concept and aerodynamic departments to maximize car systems impact on overall performance. Ensure all design work is fit for purpose and take ownership of the quality of parts designed. Complete detailed design of assigned car systems components and installations according to planned deadlines. Communicate effectively with team members and support meeting targets. Maintain good relationships with other departments. Contribute ideas for car performance improvement and highlight potential issues. Keep up-to-date with the latest technical developments applicable to the role. Ensure designs are released on time and to specifications.

Professionalism

Maintain flexible attendance and a proactive attitude. Work professionally at all times, promoting a positive image for the department, team, and sponsors.

Experience
