We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Car Systems Design engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the design of engine systems, fuel system, gearbox cooling system, and integrating these into the overall car package. You will contribute to concept development, detailed design, supporting documentation, and problem resolution for assigned components.

Mechanical Design

Support the design work with concept and aerodynamic departments to maximize car systems impact on overall performance, under the guidance of the team leader.

Ensure all design work is fit for purpose and maintain ownership of the quality of parts designed.

Complete detailed design of assigned car systems components and installations according to planned deadlines.

Communicate clearly and timely with team members and support meeting targets.

Maintain good relationships with other departments.

Contribute ideas for performance improvements and identify potential issues.

Stay updated with the latest technical developments applicable to the role.

Ensure designs are released on time and meet specifications.

Professionalism

Maintain flexible attendance and attitude, aligning with role and project requirements.

Work professionally at all times, proactively promoting a positive image for the department, team, and sponsors.
