Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Aerodynamicist responsible for generating new aerodynamic concepts and designs for the race car, testing and analyzing those concepts, and ensuring continuous evolution of aerodynamic specifications to improve performance. The role includes overseeing the full development cycle of aerodynamic components, developing innovative processes and tools, and mentoring junior aerodynamicists.

Aerodynamics Responsibilities:
  • Submit geometries for WT and CFD testing and manage the process
  • Analyze CFD and wind tunnel results, recommend track tests
  • Define and manage wind tunnel tests
  • Conduct wind tunnel testing (shift work may be required)
Professionalism:
  • Suggest and implement new methods to improve efficiency
  • Maintain flexible work attendance and attitude
  • Promote a professional image
Mentorship and Communication:
  • Collaborate with team leaders to develop aerodynamic concepts
  • Mentor junior aerodynamicists
  • Maintain relationships with related groups and communicate effectively
