Role Responsibilities:

  1. Releasing lamination flat patterns of assigned car parts to the production department.
  2. Defining ply flat patterns in accordance with internal rules, procedures, and processes for carbon component manufacturing.
  3. Supporting Composite R&D Engineers in releasing layup information for some car parts.

Digital Lay-up:

  1. Define nesting of flat patterns.
  2. Model the ply layup using software tools (NX-CAD, Fibersim, Laminate Tools, Composite Design).
  3. Compile and release plybooks for car parts production as requested.
  4. Collaborate with Design, Production, Quality Control, and Car Assembly departments.

Professionalism:

  1. Maintain flexible attendance and a proactive attitude aligned with role and project requirements.
  2. Work professionally at all times, promoting a positive image of the department, team, and sponsors.
  3. Develop and maintain good relationships with other departments.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Technical High School diploma in Mechanics.
  • Good understanding of composite design and production processes using prepreg materials.
  • Basic knowledge of Lectra digital modules.
  • Basic skills in plybook software tools (e.g., Corel Draw) preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of tools for ply draping, layup simulation, and nesting (Fibersim, Design Concept) preferred.
  • Basic CAD system knowledge preferred.
  • Initiative and innovation skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Hardworking and proactive attitude.
  • Good communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Flexibility to work early and late shifts if required.
