We are currently looking for a motivated Weekend Junior Model Maker responsible for the production of wind tunnel models and associated test parts, and supporting the Aero department with logistics and driving duties if required.

Responsibilities:

• Produce wind tunnel models and associated test parts for testing in the wind tunnel under the guidance of Aerodynamicists.
• Assist in preparing 3D-printed parts and organizing tests.
• Collaborate with Model Shop Group Leaders, Model Makers, Designers, and Aerodynamicists to develop models and test components.
• Support model shop activities and wind tunnel operations daily.
• Deliver components and projects to off-site Wind Tunnel Facility in Bedford.
• Support Production & Logistics team with logistics and driving duties as needed.
• Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis, to meet aero testing needs.
• Communicate effectively across departments.
• Manage time efficiently and maintain good relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Maintain a professional and proactive attitude, promoting a positive image of the team and sponsors.
