We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Composite Design Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing F1 car composite parts, including layout studies, patterns, moulds, tools, and jigs. You will also work on improving design processes and mentoring less experienced designers.

Composite Design
  • Undertake studies and schemes based on aerodynamic info and car layout, following guidelines.
  • Ensure designs are released on time and meet specifications.
  • Design and detail composite components such as front and rear wings, chassis, impact structures, and bodywork.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure reliability of parts.
  • Create and maintain design documentation, drawings, and analysis reports.
Communication
  • Work with materials, production, and R&D teams to select suitable composite materials.
  • Maintain effective communication within teams and departments.
Innovation and Professionalism
  • Contribute ideas to improve car performance and identify potential issues.
  • Stay updated with latest technical developments.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to project requirements.
