VAT Compliance Specialist -Consumer Brand

Location: Midlands (Hybrid - 2+ days in the office)

Are you a VAT pro who loves getting the details right? We're looking for a Fixed-Term Contract specialist to take charge of indirect tax compliance across multiple regions for a large retail brand. If you thrive on accuracy, process improvement, and working in a collaborative team, this is your chance to make an impact in a fast-moving business.

What You'll Be Doing:

VAT Compliance & Reporting - Preparing and submitting VAT returns across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and Belgium
Process Development - Helping refine and improve VAT processes across the group
Stakeholder Collaboration - Working closely with the VAT Manager and Head of Tax Compliance to embed process improvements
Advisory & Support - Providing indirect tax guidance and supporting wider compliance areas

What You'll Bring:

Strong VAT compliance experience, ideally across multiple jurisdictions
A recognised tax or accounting qualification (ATT, CTA, ICAEW/ICAS, or equivalent)
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and data skills
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement
A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
