Job description
We’re looking for a VAT Manager or Senior Manager to join our team. This role will provide VAT advisory and compliance services for a wide range of corporate clients, including FTSE100, FTSE250, AIM, private equity-backed, and privately owned businesses. UK VAT experience and knowledge are essential.
The primary responsibility is to manage a portfolio of existing clients and develop new targets to ensure business growth. You will also assist senior staff in client work and team management.
Key requirements include:
- Significant understanding of VAT compliance
- Knowledge of VAT technical areas
- Responsibility for VAT compliance within your portfolio
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting or compliance software
- Ability to manage a large, varied client portfolio
- Ability to identify opportunities for new services
- Experience dealing directly with Tax Authorities
- Experience engaging with senior management and stakeholders
