You'll provide practical and commercially focused advice on a wide range of VAT and indirect tax matters, supporting clients from owner-managed businesses through to large multinational organisations.
You'll oversee VAT projects from inception through to completion, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.
You'll support clients through HMRC enquiries, alternative dispute resolution processes, and tribunal matters where required.
You'll assist clients with the VAT implications of acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, and other significant transactions.
You'll develop trusted relationships with clients and external intermediaries, identifying opportunities to provide additional services and broaden client engagement.
You'll contribute to marketing and business development initiatives, help generate new opportunities, and raise your profile within the indirect tax market. This may include producing technical content, articles, and thought leadership pieces.
You'll support, coach, and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback. You'll also contribute to team management responsibilities, including appraisals, workflow management, and billing.
