Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Tax Manager within the eCompliance Hub to shape VAT/Indirect Tax support for Procure-to-Pay programs, aligning with real-time e-invoicing and digital tax reporting.

You will work with technology and finance teams across Europe, design tax test cases for releases, and maintain tax controls to manage P2P tax risk while ensuring compliance with European VAT laws.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong VAT/Indirect Tax knowledge for real-time e-invoicing requirements.
• Experience with European tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technology teams to develop robust tax P2P processes.
• Analyse application of VAT/GST legislation on P2P technologies and business operations.
• Partner with Tax Planning and Tax Compliance Leads to ensure ongoing P2P compliance.
• Design, execute and sign-off on tax test cases during UAT and production verification.
• Design, implement and maintain tax controls to manage P2P tax risks.
