Overview

VAT Director - Gatwick

Clark Wood have been instructed by one of the UK's most respected Professional Services Firms; their Gatwick/ Crawley office based in Sussex, are looking for an experienced VAT Senior Manager or Director to lead Advisory services and expansion of Indirect Tax services in the area.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical VAT advice and support to clients of the firm, many of whom are accountants and fellow professionals, both verbally and via written correspondence.
• Assist with the application of complex, specialist technical advice to provide innovative solutions that add value to the client.
• Lead on the VAT and Indirect Tax services in specific sectors dependent on their own areas of expertise.
• Engage in marketing and business development as both are large parts of the role, including client alerts, thought leadership, and speaking at physical events and webinars.

Requirements

• CTA Qualified VAT Senior Manager, Associate Director, or Director with the potential to further develop the VAT & Indirect Tax offering.
• Experience providing high level advisory services to Owner Managed businesses, SMEs & Entrepreneurial clients in sectors including property and construction, manufacturing, consumer goods, natural resources, professional partnerships and financial services.

Location

The Gatwick / Crawley office is commutable from areas across the South East, Sussex & Kent areas.
