Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a VAT Compliance professional to join a growing team within our UK practice. You will help draft documents, support billing tasks, and maintain VAT processes across jurisdictions as part of a global advisory network.

The role offers exposure to diverse client projects, opportunities to collaborate with senior leadership, and a flexible hybrid working arrangement designed to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of international VAT compliance (UK and EU)
• Experience in a VAT Compliance role would be desirable
• Solid relationship management and communication skills with an appreciation for global client needs
• Experience supporting senior management or partners
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure

Responsibilities

• Drafting standard VAT documents and formatting reports
• Developing proficiency in client billing tasks, including invoicing and WIP adjustments
• Supporting setup and documentation of VAT processes across jurisdictions
• Reviewing client data to identify VAT advisory opportunities
• Assisting with onboarding new clients for a smooth experience
• Contributing to internal projects and supporting the wider team
• Working on VAT process improvements to enhance client service

You’ll make an impact by

• Drafting standard documents, formatting reports, and produce various VAT Compliance team reports.
• Developing proficiency in client billing to support billing tasks, including raising invoices and WIP adjustments, opportunity tracking, and updating client and business activity information.
• Supporting the setup, maintenance and documentation of VAT processes to ensure clarity, consistency and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Reviewing client data, identifying potential VAT advisory opportunities, and collaborating with global VAT experts to meet client needs.
• Assisting with the new client onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
• Contributing to internal projects and supporting the wider team.
• Working on VAT process improvements and supporting efficiency projects that enhance client service.
