Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Staff Nurse to join the Frederick Banting Ward (Vascular) at Basildon Hospital. You will assess and implement patient care plans, participate in policy development, ensure safe drug administration, and support ward operations.

The post is a 12-month fixed-term contract, Band 5, with a salary of £32,073 per year (pro rata for part time) and a full-time pattern. UK registration and preceptorship completion are required.

Qualifications

• NMC Pin is essential for registration and practice.
• Effective communication and commitment to equality and patient-centred care are required.
• UK registration with current professional status is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with ward manager and multidisciplinary team to monitor and maintain nursing care standards and staff development.
• Carry out care delivery after the preceptorship period with supervision as needed and supervise junior staff.
• Be flexible to provide cover for different clinical areas as required.
