Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting applications for a Research Fellow in Vascular Surgery in the Department of Vascular Surgery. The fixed-term post is for 1 year and requires GMC registration and a licence to practise by the start date.

The role includes contributing to Quality Improvement initiatives, supporting the Vascular and Major Trauma Service, and providing clinical leadership to implement GIRFT recommendations while working at ST3+ level and in the 1:9 rota.

Qualifications

• Must be fully registered with the GMC and hold a licence to practise by start date.
• Experience in vascular surgery research and quality improvement.
• Eligible for Specialty Registrar level ST3+.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in Quality Improvement initiatives in vascular care.
• Provide clinical leadership to implement GIRFT recommendations.
• Work within the Vascular and Major Trauma Service rota (1:9).
