Van Technician/MOT Tester needed
Location: Heathrow
Our client, a commercial vehicle dealership, is seeking a Van Technician/MOT Tester to join their team.
Role: Van Technician/MOT Tester
Hours: 40 per week - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (with 60 minute unpaid lunch); every third Saturday morning @ time and half
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out MOT Tests
- Completing routine maintenance inspections
- Servicing and general repairs
- In-depth diagnosis, gearbox, and engine replacements
Requirements:
- MOT Tester Certification Class 4 & 7
- Relevant qualification or proven technical experience
- Problem Solver - Actively seeking solutions
- Open Communicator - Encouraging collaboration
- Team Player - Working together to achieve goals
- Organised - Keeping to deadlines
- Flexible - Willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Health and Safety - Understanding of health and safety requirements
Preferred but not essential requirements:
- Level 3 Qualification desired; however, we will consider time served applications over 5 years with proven experience
- Experience of working on light commercial vehicles
