Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Southampton, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Van Technician to join a reputable commercial dealership at a brand-new service centre. The position offers a basic salary up to £40,000 with an OTE of £45,000 and a 45-hour week with flexible start and finish times.

Duties include servicing vans per manufacturer guidelines, diagnosing faults, advising Service Reception on repairs, and producing accurate time estimates.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience working with light commercial vehicles or vans.

Responsibilities

• Servicing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, including routine checks and maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults, replacing parts and components as necessary.
• Advising Service Reception on required repairs.
• Producing accurate time estimates for work carried out as a Van Technician.
• Managing and maintaining detailed repair and service records.
• Effectively managing workshop resources to optimise productivity.
