Van Mechanic opportunity

My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company with depots across the North West, is actively seeking to employ an experienced and qualified LCV Mechanic to be based in their Haydock depot.

Van Mechanic duties

1. The successful Van Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance.
2. Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics, and everything in between.
3. Undertake pre-MOT checks and any repairs that are required.
4. Work on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles, including vans and cars.

Van Mechanic qualifications required

1. Industry-recognized qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds).
2. Detailed experience as a Van or HGV Mechanic and familiarity with modern commercial vehicles.
3. Any experience of breakdowns or onsite clinics would be an advantage.
