Job summary

Compass Group PLC is seeking a delivery driver to transport stock between catering units on the DVLA estate in Swansea. You will deliver hospitality orders on-site, receive deliveries, and maintain stock rotation with attention to safety and efficiency.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, the ability to lift stock, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A flexible approach to supporting the catering operation is essential.

• Keep vehicles, stores and work areas clean, safe, and compliant with health & safety.

Job description

• Safely transport stock and supplies between multiple catering units across the DVLA estate.
• Deliver hospitality orders to various locations on site, ensuring excellent customer service and timely delivery.
• Receive, check and put away deliveries in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate stock rotation and storage standards.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Ensure vehicles, stores and work areas are kept clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements. A full, valid UK driving licence is required for this role.
• Ability to safely lift, move and handle stock and deliveries, as regular heavy lifting is involved.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to supporting the wider catering operation. Please note: This role involves frequent manual handling, including lifting and moving stock, unloading deliveries, transporting goods between units, and delivering hospitality orders throughout the site.
