South Shore Community Action Council - Van Monitor Position

South Shore Community Action Council, a private non-profit organization serving the South Shore, is seeking a full-time Van Monitor for our Brockton and Weymouth territory routes. We offer a state-of-the-art fleet, company-provided training, and a position with no nights or weekends.

Position Details:

• Full-time; 20-25 hours per week
• All company benefits apply to full-time positions

Core Duties:

• Assist the driver to ensure safe and efficient transportation for ambulatory and wheelchair-bound clients
• Help maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep
• Transport medically involved clients to appointments across the South Shore, Brockton, and Weymouth
• Communicate with dispatch and complete daily online paperwork using a computer tablet

Core Qualifications:

• Ability to pass a CORI check pre-employment post-interview
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility within the program

Minimum Requirements:

• Must undergo a background check where applicable
• Valid MA driver's license with a clean driving record (not required for the Van Monitor role)
• Must be able to speak and understand English
