Van mobileM&E Engineer

25 days hols + Birthday off (rising1 day each year up to a max of 30 days holiday)

Covering sites within Berkshire, Oxford, West London & Buckinghamshire.

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Up to £47,000 (Dependent on Experience)

A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a reliable and skilled M&E Van Mobile Engineer to support a portfolio of commercial buildingsites. This is a key role ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of both mechanical and electrical systems across commercial & critical environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, travelling between sites in a fully equipped company van.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine PPM and fault-finding across M&E assets including boilers, pumps, AHUs, lighting, emergency power, and BMS systems.

- Respond to urgent call-outs and carry out efficient repairs with minimal disruption to site operations.

- Complete compliance checks including emergency lighting, fire alarms, water temp checks, and electrical testing.

- Collaborate with on-site teams, contractors, and estates personnel.

- Maintain clear documentation via PDA or digital reporting tools.

- Ensure all work meets health & safety regulations and site-specific procedures.

- Change light fittings, unblocking toilets, flip tests, PAT testing and general PPMs

Candidate Requirements

- Recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent).

- 18th Edition (required)

- Testing & Inspection or F-Gas certification (advantageous).

- Proven FM experience

- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

- Full UK driving licence and a flexible, proactive approach.

- Must be confident and well presented to walk into client sites and liaise with them
