Driver Hire Basingstoke & Newbury is seeking dedicated Van (Cat B) & HGV (7.5t) drivers to join our team and work with a highly reputable client based in Amesbury, Wiltshire. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering top-quality service, this could be the perfect role for you.

The role is commutable from Salisbury, Andover and surrounding areas.

The Role:

• Position:Driver
• Contract:Temporary
• Start Time:07:30
• Working Days:Mondays to Fridays.
• Responsibilities:You will be responsible for the safe delivery of orders (approx. 10-15 per day) from the depot to farms and commercial businesses with the South / South-West of England, always ensuring a high level of customer service. You may also be involved in loading / unloading the van at the end of the day.

What You Need:

• Licence:You must have a valid licence applicable to the class of vehicle to be driven, be over the age of 25, and have at least 1 years driving experience.
• Certifications:If you are applying for the HGV role, and have additional ADR certification, please indicate this on your application.
• Experience:Previous experience in multi-drop delivery work would be an advantage.
• Skills:Excellent timekeeping and strong customer service abilities
• Transport:Must have your own transport for commuting to work (Amesbury)
