The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work for an expanding company within a niche area of the catering transport industry, well-known for exceeding their customer’s expectations. As a Van Fitter, you will be a major part of providing a bespoke service to those valued customers.

The Job
You will have 12 weeks to carry out the job and impress the team. If you work hard and show a willingness to develop your skills, you’ll be warmly welcomed into their friendly company on a temporary to permanent basis.

• Fitting out all models of vans with fiber-glass panels.
• Using hand tools and power tools.
• Lifting and fixing elements and panels into a variety of vehicles.
• Complete all actions with a “safety-first” approach for yourself, the team, and the product.

About you
This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on approach, prior experience with tools would be advantageous, and isn’t afraid to get stuck in! If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills, this role is for you.

Key Requirements:

• This is a physically demanding job that involves awkward lifting; therefore, you must be fit and healthy without any previous injuries.
• You must be able to wear a face mask due to health and safety requirements.
• Must be able to work accurately in a timely fashion to ensure completion of projects.
• Able to understand basic “fit” specifications.

Salary
£12.00 per hour.

Hours
8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. This is a 12-week temporary to permanent opportunity.
