Job summary

A logistics recruitment agency in Purfleet-on-Thames is looking for a Van Fitter to modify vehicles as per customer needs. Candidates must hold a valid B1 licence and have no more than 6 points for insurance purposes. Excellent communication and customer service skills, along with attention to detail, are essential. The position offers a basic pay rate of £16.36 with overtime available. This is an ongoing role with Monday to Friday shifts and starts as early as 6am.

Van Fitter

Ongoing Role

Monday to Friday (Overtime available)

6am - 7am starts

3pm - 4pm finishes

Rate of Pay :

Basic - £16.36

OT - £21.81

Sat - £24.54

Sun - £32.72

Job role will include :

• Modifying vehicle to customers needs
• Drilling vehicle
• Fitting and installing tail lifts, internal lighting, racking, etc
• Other tasks as and when required

The Candidate :

• A valid full category van / B1 licence is required
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA / CD / CU / DR / DD / IN offences please)
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
