Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Van Drivers for an established delivery operation in Ilkeston, delivering food products to customers across the UK. The role offers regular Monday–Friday work with early starts and approximately 10-hour shifts, paid at £13.65 per hour PAYE.

You will drive a refrigerated van and manage a multi-stop UK route, ensuring timely, safe deliveries while delivering excellent customer service.

We’re recruiting experienced Van Drivers to join an established delivery operation in Ilkeston, delivering food products to customers across the UK. With consistent Monday-to-Friday work and ongoing opportunities available, this is a great option for drivers looking for a reliable routine.

You’ll be responsible for delivering food products to multiple locations nationwide using a refrigerated van. You’ll manage your own delivery route, ensuring products are transported in suitable conditions and arrive safely, accurately and on time.

As this is a multi-drop position, good organisation and time management are essential. You’ll need to plan your route efficiently, keep to delivery schedules and communicate professionally with customers at each location.

You’ll also be expected to drive responsibly, maintain high standards of customer service and work independently throughout the day.

Duration: This is an ongoing position offering regular work and consistent opportunities for suitable drivers.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The position pays £13.65 per hour PAYE, with regular Monday-to-Friday work, early starts and approximately 10-hour shifts. You’ll benefit from consistent weekly hours and an ongoing opportunity with an established delivery operation.

Working Hours: The role operates Monday to Friday, with 04:00 starts and shifts lasting approximately 10 hours. Finishing times will depend on the route and workload, with finishes generally expected around the early afternoon.

Experience & Qualifications

You must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have at least one year of commercial van driving experience, including previous multi-drop delivery work.

You’ll need to be comfortable driving a refrigerated van, have a good knowledge of UK roads and be confident managing your own delivery schedule. Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude are essential, along with the ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
