The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Hayes area. We are looking for experienced Van Drivers (CAT B) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, start times between 5am and 7am (approximately 8-hour shifts on average) with occasional weekend availability.

Job Type : Temporary to permanent.

The role:

  • Deliver and exchange entrance mats at various client locations, including retail stores, private hospitals, and schools.
  • Collect used mats for cleaning and maintenance.
  • Follow a preplanned route with approximately 25 stops per day.
  • Ensure timely and efficient mat exchange at each stop, using a PDA to record the exchange.
  • Maintain a high standard of service and professionalism when interacting with clients.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
  • Safely load and unload mats from the van.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekend work.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Physical fitness and capability to handle waste containers.
  • Discounts at hundreds of high-street stores and supermarkets.
