Job description

Driver Hire Inverness is offering an opportunity for a Van Driver / Porter to join a well-established removals team on a full-time permanent basis. Previous removals experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is physically fit, customer-focused, and looking to grow within a supportive team. Occasional overtime and nights away may be required.

• Monday to Friday schedule (08:00 – 17:00)

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading vehicles/storage containers with household or business contents
• Dismantling and reassembling furniture
• Packing fragile and non-fragile items
• Safely transporting goods to and from customer locations
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Assisting with general warehouse duties
• Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting maintenance issues
• Adhering to safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements:

• Valid UK Cat B Driving Licence
• Forklift experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
