Pertemps Worcester is recruiting for Van Drivers to join a busy automotive distribution operation based in Redditch. The role involves loading and delivering automotive glass and related products to customers nationwide, with night shifts and a six-night rota.

Pay starts at £14.68 per hour, rising to £14.81 after 12 weeks, with overtime paid at time and a half. 46 contracted hours per week. Full training will be provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than six penalty points.
• Previous van driving experience.
• Must have experience working on night shifts.
• Multi-drop experience.
• Must be physically fit.
• Flexible and reliable approach to working hours.
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Redditch.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure and transport fragile products.
• Complete nationwide, multi-drop deliveries efficiently and professionally.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure the vehicle remains safe, clean and roadworthy.
• Complete all deliveries accurately and within the required timescales.
• Assist with warehouse duties, loading and stock handling when required.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Work flexibly to support changing operational requirements.

VAN DRIVER NIGHTS

Location: Redditch

Payrate: £14.68 per hour, rising to £14.81 after 12 weeks

Pertemps are recruiting Van Drivers to join a busy automotive distribution operation based in Redditch.

The role involves loading and delivering automotive glass and related products to customers nationwide. Due to the nature of the loads, this is a physically demanding, hands‑on position requiring candidates to be fit, reliable and comfortable with regular lifting.

NIGHT SHIFTS

• Four shifts assigned across a six-night rota
• Sunday to Thursday: 8:00pm-7:30am
• Friday: 6:00pm-5:30am
• No Saturday-night working
• 46 contracted hours per week
• £14.68 per hour
• Pay increases to £14.81 per hour after 12 weeks
• Overtime paid at time and a half
