Overview

Staffline are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Night Flyer Van Drivers to join our team in South Elmsall. As a van driver, you will have the opportunity to work through our agency, representing a highly reputable retail company. This may lead to a permanent role with the client. The role primarily involves RDC/store deliveries, not home deliveries, providing a consistent workload throughout the year. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and weekend working is essential. We offer paid induction training to ensure your success in the role.

Note: Night Shifts start between 21:00 and 03:00. Work is available across all 7 days, and weekend availability increases opportunities.

Responsibilities

Your work will involve mostly RDC work with cross country routes. You will be fully competent in driving vehicles to the highest standards, providing a first-class service to all customers while working within the company’s procedures and guidelines to ensure smooth operation and customer expectations are met. Manual Handling is involved but each item will be no more than 15kg. You will be rewarded with excellent pay and working conditions, as well as flexible working options and ad hoc shifts to suit.

Qualifications

• Car licence for more than 1 year (Cat B)
• No more than 6 points
• Proven experience as a van driver, preferably in store deliveries (desirable, not essential)
• Good knowledge of the Doncaster area and its surrounding regions
• Excellent driving record and understanding of road traffic regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle goods with care
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work weekends as it is an essential requirement
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time
