Job summary

Royal Household in Windsor Castle is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to manage the safe, timely transport of furniture, works of art, carpets and other items between royal residences. You will coordinate movements, support logistics for events, and maintain accurate movement records.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, a proactive, team-focused approach, and the ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK Driver's Licence with proven experience driving commercial delivery vehicles.
• Excellent teamwork and a supportive attitude.
• Strong communication with a wide range of stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all logistical aspects of moves: loading checks, route planning, driving between sites, delivery and unloading.
• Support safe lifting and movement of furniture and art, ensuring conservation requirements.
• Carry out regular service checks on vehicles and maintain compliance with driving regulations.
• Maintain fleet of vehicles and ensure safe presentation, maintenance and legal compliance.
• Coordinate transport schedules across residences and communicate progress to relevant teams.
• Assist with event setups and operations in Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace as needed.
