Job summary

PRG EMEA is recruiting for a logistics role to support the delivery and collection of company equipment and sub-hires across the UK, with driving duties and paperwork processing. The role requires a valid UK driving license and a good knowledge of the UK road network, including London and surrounding areas.

You will work independently, with flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

UK issued valid driving license.
Good working knowledge of the UK road network, in particular London and surrounding areas.
Flexible working hours, including weekends, public holidays, early morning, late evening and overnight shifts are not unusual.
Ability to work independently and to be proactive.
Previous logistics experience is desirable but a willing attitude to learn is essential.
Understanding of safe lifting practices.
Good communication skills and willingness to co-operate with others.

Responsibilities

Carry out driving duties as allocated by the Logistics department.
Driving 3.5T company lwb vehicles as required by the demands of the business.
Ensure Pre-safety checks are completed on the vehicles prior to leaving site, reporting any issues in the correct manner.
Ensure deliveries and collections are completed within their allocated time slots.
Complete and process all required paperwork.
Adhere to safe loading practices when lifting and handling equipment.
Ensure vehicle loads are safe, secure and within the load capacity of the vehicle.
Be a point of contact for all transport issues in the absence of the UK Transport Operations Manager.
