Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Driver / Furniture Installer in Dagenham to join their professional installations team. You will be delivering, assembling and installing office furniture at customer sites across the UK, ensuring safety and high workmanship standards.

The role requires at least 2 years in furniture installation, a full UK driving licence, and strong customer-facing skills. Competitive salary £30,000-£35,000, with pension, holiday entitlement and discretionary bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install office furniture at customer locations.

• Liaise with customers and internal teams regarding project progress and any issues.
• Complete daily and weekly vehicle checks.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Driver / Furniture Installer to join their professional installations team.

The Role

As a Driver / Furniture Installer, you will be responsible for the delivery, assembly, and installation of office furniture at customer sites. Working as part of an experienced team, you will ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.

You will be expected to utilise your installation expertise to overcome challenges on-site while delivering an excellent customer experience.

• Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures and site-specific regulations.
• Support the wider team with any additional duties required by management.

About You

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' office furniture installation experience (essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) with a clean driving record.
• Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of furniture assembly and installation techniques.
• Ability to interpret site-specific requirements and work safely.
• Good understanding of Risk Assessments and safe working practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and professional approach to work.

Desirable

• Forklift Truck (FLT) qualification.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Experience working on commercial office fit-out projects.
