Job summary

Frontline Recruitment National is seeking Van Drivers for roles based in St Helens, Merseyside. You will deliver goods to customers’ homes and complete around 10–12 drops per shift.

There are part-time opportunities with set working days; morning shifts start at 6am and afternoon shifts at 1.30pm. Training will be provided for delivery and assembly duties, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle.
• Reliable with good timekeeping.
• Friendly and professional customer service skills.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous van driving / multi-drop / home delivery experience would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van to deliver goods to customers' homes.

• Carry out heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Perform basic delivery paperwork and records.

VAN DRIVERS WANTED – ST HELENS, MERSEYSIDE & SURROUNDING AREAS

FED UP WITH 100 DROPS A DAY? HOW DOES 10–12 SOUND?

We're recruiting Van Drivers, Delivery Drivers and Home Delivery Drivers for opportunities based in St Helens, Merseyside.

Are you looking for a van driving job without the pressure of making 100 deliveries a day?

We have a range of working patterns available to suit different circumstances.

SHIFTS & WORKING HOURS

• Monday to Friday opportunities available
• No weekend working required for these roles
• Part-time opportunities with set working days each week
• Morning shifts starting at 6am
• Afternoon shifts starting at 1.30pm

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Driving a van to deliver goods to customers' homes
• Completing approximately 10–12 deliveries per shift
• Loading and unloading goods from your vehicle
• Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling
• Completing some small assembly work where required
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Following planned delivery routes
• Completing delivery paperwork and records
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks
• Following road safety and driving regulations

Full training will be provided for the delivery and assembly duties.

IMPORTANT – THIS IS A PHYSICAL DELIVERY ROLE!

Heavy lifting and manual handling are involved, so you must be comfortable with physically demanding work.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Drivers with a valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle

• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Previous van driving, multi-drop delivery, home delivery or courier experience would be useful

You don't need to be used to making 100 drops a day. We're looking for people who can provide a reliable, professional delivery service.
