Job summary

Micheldever Tyre Services (MTS) is seeking a reliable Multi-Drop Driver to join our team. You will perform multi-drop deliveries and collect customer returns of tyres and products within the MTS network, using up to 3.5 tonne vehicles. You may also support warehouse operations as needed.

The role is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A full clean UK driving licence (Category B) held for at least 6 months is required. Benefits include staff discounts, pension, life insurance, and more.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle and load documentation is correct before release from site.
• Maintain vehicle roadworthiness and comply with safety and company policies.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting as required.

This is a multi-functional flexible role, carrying outmulti drop deliveries and collection of customer returns of tyres and products to and from our customer base and distribution centres within the MTS network using (up to and including) 3.5 tonne vehicles. You willbe requiredto support the warehouse operation as and whenrequired.

Shift Pattern:

45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Must have:

A full clean UK driving licence (Category B) held for at least 6 months, (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

About the role:

You willbe responsible forthe occasional monetary collections from Customers (including cash accounts)

Assisttomaintainthe vehicle in a roadworthy manner, ensure legal complianceis always maintained

Ensure documentation is correct to vehicle & load prior to vehicle release from site

Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately andon-time.

Ensure the work is carried out in line with Company policies and procedures

You should be aware that this role will involve manual handling and heavy lifting as there is a requirement to load and unload vehicles.

About you:

Previousexperience within a similar role

Experience of multidrop delivery

The ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your work

Full UK driving licence (Category B1)
