Overview

Apply today for an immediate start to work as a Van Driver for our client - a UK leading company who delivers white goods to customer homes as part of a home delivery service.

Staffline is recruiting a Van Driver in Wigan.

The rate of pay is £12.25 per hour.

This is a full-time role working 4 days over 6, and the hours of work are:

• 5.00am/6.00am - 5.00pm/6.00pm

Your Time at Work

As a Van Driver your duties will include:

• You will be responsible for covering the north region, driving anywhere between Wigan to Newcastle or even Scotland.
• You will be delivering white goods as part of a two man team, so manual handling is involved in the role.
• You will be responsible for the removal of packaging and taking away the customers old appliances.
• Good communication and customer service is also required.
• Some manual handling either on your own or with another colleague.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker must be comfortable with long distances and drive safely at all times. Polite and good communication with customers. Ability to manual handle products and deliver into the customers home. Flexible with working pattern. Due to insurance purposes - applicants must be minimum 20 years old with no more than 6 points on the driving licence.
