Job summary

Pertemps seeks a reliable Van Driver for a busy Watford operation. You will drive a Luton box van, delivering to customers across the south of England with occasional trips into London, starting early each morning.

This is a full-time role with a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate and an immediate start. Loading and unloading, along with excellent customer service, are essential components of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Experience driving a Luton box van preferred
• Comfortable with early morning starts
• Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
• Positive attitude with excellent time management
• Physically fit; some manual handling might be required

Responsibilities

• Drive a Luton box van to deliver goods to customers.
• Start at 5:00am each day.
• Complete approximately 15–20 deliveries per shift.
• Deliver across the south of England, with occasional runs into London.
• Load and unload the vehicle where required.
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point.
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure deliveries are safe and efficient.

We're currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join a busy and growing operation based in Watford.

The Role

• Driving a Luton box van to deliver goods to customers.
• Starting at 5:00am each day.
• Completing approximately 15–20 deliveries per shift.
• Deliveringacross the south of England, with occasional runs into London.
• Loading and unloading your vehicle where required.
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point.
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are made safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Previous experience driving a Luton box van is preferred.
• Comfortable with early morning starts.
• Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations.
• A positive attitude with excellent time management skills.
• Physically fit, as some manual handling will be required.
