Van Driver Opportunity

Join Pure Staff and work as a Van Driver with our reliable and reputable long-term client in SWINDON This is an ongoing position, meaning work is available here Monday to Friday!

Pure Staff also provide temporary to permanent recruitment services to this client. We have supplied this customer since 2018, and we are recruiting for them again!

Your role as a Van Driver

• Capable of lifting: deliver furniture weighing from 50kg as part of a 2-person team.
• Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
• Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Customer facing: Being Polite, presentable, and respectful of customers who you are delivering to.
• Available at Late Notice: Available to attend work within the hour if called in

Requirements

• A minimum 1-year experience as a van driver.
• Must have held your driving licence for at least 2 years for insurance purposes
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Good attention to detail ensuring safe loading and unloading of goods.
• Reliable (on time for work and a good attendance record)
• Complete an online induction prior to starting work
• Available to start immediately in Wednesbury and Lichfield

Pay

• 12.60 per hour (Monday to Friday) + Holiday Entitlement + Pension auto enrolment.
• Timely, accurate & reliable payment. Weekly payslips whilst working with Pure Staff.
