Job summary

The Best Connection in Sunderland is seeking a reliable Van Driver (Category B) for a part-time, temporary role delivering furniture and home goods. You will work with a driver’s mate on local routes and provide excellent customer service at delivery points.

The position runs Monday and Thursday with a start time of 08:30am; paid at £13.50 per hour (PAYE). This is a great ongoing opportunity with weekly shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category B driving licence.
• Previous van driving experience preferred.
• Good level of physical fitness (due to lifting furniture).
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time, ongoing temporary work with consistent weekly shifts.

The Role:

• Driving a 3.5T van delivering furniture and home goods
• Van Driver
• Working alongside a driver's mate
• Completing local deliveries in and around Sunderland
• Providing good customer service at delivery points
• Ensuring safe handling and transportation of goods

Working Hours:

• Monday and Thursday
• Start time: 08:30am
• Finish time: Until route completion

Pay Rate:

• £13.50 per hour (PAYE)

Requirements:

• Full UK Category B driving licence
• Previous van driving experience preferred
• Good level of physical fitness (due to lifting furniture)
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
