Qualifications

  • Must hold a Full UK Driving License and preferably ADR certification.
  • Experience in safe vehicle operation and strong customer focus is essential.

Job description

Sharpsmart are part of Daniels Health, a global business providing safety systems and medical waste collection for hospitals and an array of customers within the healthcare setting. Our focus is delivering quality and safety-focused medical waste management services that reduce needlestick injuries, positively impact infection control and reduce environmental burden.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver to utilize your experience with our healthcare customers.

What will your role involve?
  • Safely collecting, delivering and storing our containers at customer locations
  • Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
  • Operating vehicles in a safe manner
  • Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
  • Loading and unloading
  • Managing a route per leadership's direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service
  • Complying with regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
  • Heavy lifting
Who are we looking for?
  • Full UK Driving license
  • ADR (preferred)
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
  • Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner with a manual element
  • On time delivery practices and the understanding of our essential service
