Job description

Shift: Monday to Friday

Start Time: 7am - 4pm

As a Biffa Van Driver, the role holder will report directly to the Transport Manager and will be responsible for the professional and efficient collection, transportation, and disposal of customers' waste, while adhering to health and safety and other company procedures.

Because the service is reactive with an emphasis on excellent customer service, flexibility across weekdays and some weekend work is required to meet customer needs.

Your Core Responsibilities

1. Drive and operate vehicles as directed by the traffic office and transport operations manager, ensuring efficient collection, transportation, and disposal of waste.
2. Perform routine vehicle checks and report defects appropriately.
3. Complete all paperwork, including daily timesheets.
4. Carry out other reasonable job-related tasks, including ad hoc duties.
