Overview

Van Delivery Driver - Masonite | Location: Rochester | Shift Pattern: 5/6am starts, Monday to Friday, typical 9 hrs per day | Pay Rate: £14.06 per hour | Contract Type: Temp to perm for the right candidate

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services, offering a range of solutions including drayage, global freight forwarding, and full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and collaborates with customers to reduce emissions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of goods to customers in central London and surrounding counties.
• Handle and transport different types of doors such as Fire Doors, Composite Doors and other styles of doors.
• Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and professional manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company standards while operating the vehicle.
• Load and unload the vehicle either by handballing or sack barrows.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous multi-drop driving experience is essential.
• Manual Handling is required.
• No more than six penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements).
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network, particularly London.
