We’re recruiting a reliable Van Driver & Warehouse Operative for our client’s busy distribution team in Reading. This temp-to-perm role offers full training, weekly pay, and long-term potential.

Ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and warehouse work, you'll ensure timely deliveries and accurate dispatch of goods.

Location: Reading

Pay: £12.21 per hour (paid weekly)

Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Start Date: Immediate

Hours:

Monday–Friday: 08:30–17:30

Every other Saturday: 08:00–12:00

40–44 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Driving:

Deliver automotive parts (e.g., brake pads, discs, batteries) to local customers

Plan daily routes efficiently

Provide friendly customer service

Perform vehicle checks and keep van roadworthy

Warehouse:

Pick and pack orders using handheld scanners

Label and prepare stock for dispatch

Keep the warehouse clean and safe

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)

Experience in driving or warehouse roles preferred

Physically fit (heavy lifting involved)

Reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual

Able to work independently and in a team

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
