Rapier Employment is looking for a medical delivery/van driver to support our well-known client based around the Oxfordshire area.

Position Details

• Role: Van Driver
• Hours: Start times between 06:00 - 12:00. Finish usually by 20:00. Start times on a rota basis.
• Days: Friday-Monday or Saturday, Sunday, and one other weekday.
• Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 37.5 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Transporting blood and tissue samples between hospitals and surgeries.
• Making multiple, time-critical deliveries daily.
• Pathology delivery and collections.
• Delivering internal mail between sites.
• Delivering to easy access sites and remote surgeries.
• Deciding on parking and when to contact sites or transport for updates.
• Working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Van driving and multi-drop experience.
• Ability to work to deadlines and communicate route issues.
• Must be 18 or over (insurance purposes).
• Full UK driving license.
• DBS check will be required later.
