Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group in South Elmsall is seeking experienced Van Drivers for a busy retail delivery operation. Start date Mid-November. The role is Temp to Perm with day and night shifts, typically around 10 hours, five days out of seven, delivering approximately 3–9 drops per shift.

You will deliver stock to well-known retail brands, sort pallets, load/unload, and reload returned stock. Regular manual handling is required to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of driving experience.
• Reliable, flexible and timely.
• Ability to perform manual handling duties.
• Professional attitude and good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Delivering stock to well-known retail brands.
• Sorting pallets and stock that arrive overnight before loading your vehicle.
• Manually loading boxes, sacks and garments on rails.
• Unloading deliveries at each store.
• Reloading returned stock at stores and bringing it back to the depot.

Day Rate: £13.35 per hour
Night Rate: £16.02 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Van Drivers for a busy retail delivery operation based in Elmsall.

Job Details

• Start Times: Day Shift between 5:15am and 8:00am and Night Shift between 5pm and 1am
• Hours: Varying shifts, typically around 10 hours, with a maximum of 11 hours
• Working Days: 5 days out of 7 - Need to be flexible
• Deliveries: Approximately 3-9 drops per shift

• Delivering stock to well-known retail brands
• Sorting pallets and stock that arrive overnight before loading your vehicle
• Manually loading boxes, sacks and garments on rails
• Unloading deliveries at each store
• Reloading returned stock at stores and bringing it back to the depot

Please note: This role involves regular manual handling, loading and unloading throughout the shift.
