Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking an experienced Van Driver for a leading logistics firm in Newent. The position offers £13.25 per hour on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis.

Working Monday to Friday with starts from 3am, you will handle 5–10 multi-drop deliveries daily, load and unload goods, and complete delivery paperwork. Heavy lifting is essential, and early starts are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused attitude.
• Willing to work early starts and manage routes independently.
• Knowledge of Gloucester road networks is advantageous.
• Ability to follow strict processes, procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries: 5–10 per day depending on route.

About The Role

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial seeks an experienced Van Driver for a leading logistics firm in Newent, offering £13.25 per hour on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis.

Working Monday to Friday with starts from 3am, shifts typically span eight to ten hours, plus overtime beyond 45 hours weekly.

You will handle five to ten multi-drop deliveries daily, load and unload goods, and complete delivery paperwork.

Heavy lifting is essential, so physical fitness is required.

This role suits reliable drivers seeking consistent work and potential permanency. Early starts are mandatory.

The Role
