Sysco GB – Brakes is seeking a Van Driver in the Maidstone/Aylesford area to join a leading UK foodservice business. The role involves early start times (05:00) for a 45-hour week, with duties including accurate order picking, safe delivery, and maintaining product temperatures in transit.

The job emphasizes DVSA-compliant vehicle checks, health and safety compliance, and manual handling of food products. A supportive driver development pathway is available.

A satisfying role

You'll need to pay attention for accurately picking on vehicle and delivery of customer orders and maintaining product temperatures in a multi-temperature-controlled vehicle. You'll need awareness of Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Compliance to ensure your vehicle checks are completed to a high standard to ensure roadworthiness. The role includes manual handling of our food produce to the customers premises so you will need to comply with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.
