Job summary

Venatu Recruitment Group is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative for their Colchester team. The role combines driving with hands-on warehouse work, including loading/unloading, stock handling, and order picking.

You will deliver parts to local garages, manage multiple stops, and maintain safety and accuracy throughout shifts. A full UK driving licence and good customer service are essential for this hands-on position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivering car parts to local garages and trade customers (up to 15 deliveries per run, ~5–6 items per delivery).
• Loading and unloading the vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Returning to the warehouse to assist with general warehouse operations for the remainder of the shift.
• Picking, packing, organising stock, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our busy automotive parts team in Colchester.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

The Role

This is a varied role combining delivery driving with warehouse duties.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering car parts to local garages and trade customers.
• Completing up to 15 deliveries per run, with approximately 5–6 items per delivery.
• Loading and unloading your vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Returning to the warehouse once deliveries are complete to assist with general warehouse operations for the remainder of your shift.
• Picking, packing, organising stock, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Products You'll Deliver

You'll be delivering a range of automotive parts and consumables, including:

• Brake pads and discs
• Nuts, bolts and fixings
• Wing mirrors
• Engine oils, lubricants and screenwash
• Vehicle batteries

What We’re Looking For

• A full UK driving licence.
• Good knowledge of the local area is desirable.
• A positive, reliable attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and regular heavy lifting. Vehicle batteries can vary significantly in weight, so applicants must be comfortable lifting and moving heavy items safely.
