Driver Hire Leeds West is working alongside a prestigious medical supplies distributor to recruit several 3.5T Delivery Drivers to join their team in the LS12 area. Our client is a leading distributor and wholesale supplier of pharmaceutical, surgical, medical, and healthcare products worldwide.

As part of your role, you will work on a fixed route, delivering to pharmacies, doctors' surgeries, and hospitals around the north of England. You will build relationships with your customers, meeting them regularly. You will use a handheld PDA to obtain customer signatures, so good customer service skills are essential.

You will undergo two weeks of full-time training to ensure competence before working independently. You will be supported by a team of trained drivers and trainers. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company planning to expand its team in the coming months.

We seek drivers with excellent customer service skills, responsible for customer satisfaction and loyalty. You should have strong communication skills to convey information clearly. Teamwork is vital, as you will collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals. You should also be safety conscious and report issues promptly. The role requires initiative and the ability to work unsupervised. These are ongoing positions until September 2025.

Requirements:

• Over 21 years old due to vehicle insurance requirements, with a minimum of commercial vehicle driving experience.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points; licence checks will be conducted regularly.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries is desirable.
• Route planning experience is preferred.
• Ability to handle manual tasks and handball responsibilities.
• Flexibility to choose working days and shifts.

• The pay model will be explained at the interview; options are available.
• Weekly pay via PAYE, managed in-house, with no umbrella schemes or charges.
