Job description

We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our client in Bristol. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery and collection of vans to and from customer sites. Your commitmentto safety, attention to detail, and excellent customer service will be essential in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
• Delivery & Collection: Safely drive company vans to and from customer sites, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Vehicle Checks: Conduct daily vehicle inspections, reporting any defects promptly, and ensure adherence to manufacturer's service intervals.
• Preparation: Prepare vans for hire, including valeting, testing, and inspecting welfare vans to ensure they meet company standards.
• Compliance: Adhere to the company’s health and safety policies and procedures during all operations.
• Documentation: Follow company’s Employee Handbook policies and procedures.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as requested by your manager.

Requirements
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Driving: Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience with a valid UK driving licence.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact politely and professionally with customers.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Professionalism: Always polite, well-mannered, and customer focused.
