Job summary

Driver Hire Colchester and Sudbury are seeking experienced van drivers to support our Colchester based client, in the food distribution sector. Immediate start, full-time and permanent.

Pay £14.25 p/h for 8 hours minimum and £15.25 p/h after 8 hours and on weekends; salary after 12 weeks negotiable. The role involves a Tuesday–Saturday week, with weekend shifts, early starts, and 10–25 deliveries per day to various food establishments.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category B driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points; DR/DD/IN endorsements not allowed.
• Previous commercial van experience essential.
• Good knowledge of UK road laws.
• Safety, reliability and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections typically 10–25 per day to restaurants, hotels, schools and food establishments.
• Start times can vary, early starts (as early as 12am) and weekend work; Tuesday to Saturday working week.
• Role is full-time and permanent with pay including holiday pay; pay rate £14.25 p/h for 8 hrs minimum, £15.25 p/h after 8 hrs and on weekends.

Driver Hire Colchester and Sudbury are seeking Experienced Van Drivers to support our Colchester based client, working within the food distribution industry.

Immediate start available, the role is full time, permanent .

Pay rate for the first 12weeks is £14.25 p/h for 8hrs minimum and £15.25 p/h after 8hrs and on weekends. Salary after 12 weeks negotiable.

The Role

• Working week is Tuesday to Saturday. Must be willing to work weekends.
• Start times vary can be as early as 12am, must be willing to start early and work on Saturday when needed.
• Number of Deliveries and collections vary between 10 - 25 per day,
• Delivering to restaurants, hotels, schools and food establishments.

Requirements

• Full UK Category B driving licence
• Clean license is an advantage. No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
• Previous commercial van experience essential
• Good knowledge of UK road laws
• Safety, reliability and customer service skills are essential
